Know the applications of VITON / FKM/ FPM o-rings and FEP/PFA SILICONE VMQ o-rings
VITON / FKM/ FPM o-rings are acknowledged for their outstanding resistance to high temperatures and many solvents. They have great resistance to ozone, oxygen, weather, mineral oil, hydraulic fluids, fuels, and aromatics, as well. This feature makes them occupy a vital position in a huge range of applications. These o-rings are also available with a PFA jacket. They are also available in different Cross Sections, ranging from 1.78mm to 25.4mm.
High fluorine grades of these o-rings are capable of offering higher resistance to bulge in high octane as well as oxygenated fuel mixes. This makes them offer the best performance in Methanol / Ethanol blended gasoline.
These encapsulated o-rings are a suitable substitute when a normal o-ring has insufficient chemical resistance to chemicals for an application. Besides offering outstanding resistance to an extensive variety of chemicals, these o-rings are compatible to use in different ranges of temperature including from -60°C to +200°C with Silicone core and from -20°C to +200°C with Viton core.
